TEEN ACTIVITY: DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT! The CBC youth group will have its very own dodgeball tournament Saturday, April 20th from 4:30-7:30. Come ready to dip, dodge, and duck as we see which team has what it takes to take home the prize! Invite your friends for a FREE night of fun, pizza, and God’s Word. Pastor Chad will send out a sign up email this week as well as additional details. We needs LOTS of help with this activity, everything from serving behind the scenes, to tech support to referees. If you are available to help, please see Pastor Chad! We will have flyers available Wednesday for you to invite your friends and neighbors!
SINGLES ADULT ACTIVITY – On Sunday, April 21st at 1pm the Young Single Adults with meet at Buffaloe Lanes in Erwin (100 W Jackson Blvd, Erwin, NC 28339) for some bowling and pizza. This activity is free. If you have questions, please contact Tom (984) 222-4856 or Arlene Francis ((919) 414-5953.
MEN'S SOFTBALL GAME SCHEDULE - The men's softball season is underway. All are welcome to come out and enjoy fellowship while supporting the men as they play. Check the calendar on the church website for games and times.
MENS BREAKFAST AND DIXIE GUN AND KNIFE SHOW – Dads and sons, please plan to join us on Saturday, May 4 at 8AM for our Men’s Breakfast. After breakfast we will take the bus to the Dixie Gun and Knife Show at the Raleigh fairgrounds. The cost is $9 (kids under 12 are free). We will plan to return around 1PM. Sign up will start in a few weeks.
LADIES EVENT – HATS OFF TO GALS – All ladies young and old mark your calendar for an event on May 11th, from 10AM-12PM called Hats Off To Gals. We will share more details in the coming weeks and provide an easy sign up for everyone. You won’t want to miss this special time together.
GROUP BABY GIFT FOR AILYSSA BUFFALOE – As most of you know, our ladies collect money to purchase a baby gift for all babies born to moms in our CBC family. We are collecting money to purchase a group gift for Ailyssa Buffaloe. We are so excited for Blake and Ailyssa. HELP NEED ON OUR GROUNDS CREW – We are in need of a number of men to serve on our grounds crew starting in April. TEEN AND JUNIOR CAMP AT THE ANCHORAGE THIS SUMMER – It’s time to register for summer camp! This summer we’ll be taking our kids and teens to The Anchorage for summer camp. Sign up by March 3rd to get a $15 discount on the total price! The kids will be going to Jr Camp July 15th-20th. This is Junior week #3 and the speaker is Jeremy Frazor. The full price for camp is $325 (without the discount). This camp is for kids going into the 3rd-7th grades for the 2024-25 school year. Please be sure to select this camp for all junior campers. Teen campers will be going for Teen week #2, July 8th-13th and the speaker is Kyle Grant. The full price of camp is $335. This camp is for teenagers going into the 8th grade through graduation of high school for the 2024-2025 school year.
