We need to grab hold of God’s grace and put on His armor. Don't face the day without first seeking His divine enablement and taking the time to protect yourself with the armor that God provides (Ephesians 6).
• Be ready to fight. - Alert (1 Peter 5:8)
• Be dressed to fight. - Armor (Ephesians 6:10-17)
• Fight - Activate (James 4:6-10)
- Take hold of God’s greater grace (James 4:6; Matthew 5:20) Grace is God’s divine enablement.
- Submit to God and resist the devil. (James 4:7)
- Draw near to God. (James 4:8a)
- Repent of your sins. (James 4:8b-9)
- Humble yourself before God. (James 4:10)
Why is it so hard to live for God? Pride. Praise God that His grace is greater than Satan, the flesh, and the world!
