1. The Proper View of His Trials (Colossians 1:24)
- It is used to help others.
- By spreading the gospel to the unsaved.
- By challenging other believers.
- It is used to help himself.
- To relate to Christ and His suffering. (1 Peter 4:13-14)
- To be like Christ. (James 1:2-4)
2. The Proper View of His Responsibilities (Colossians 1:25-27)
- My calling comes from God.
- I must please God alone.
- My calling is for the benefit of others.
- My calling is to proclaim God’s truth.
3. The Proper View of His Goals (Colossians 1:28)
- Share Christ with everybody.
- Teach God’s Word to everybody.
- Help everybody become Christ-like.
4. The Proper View of His Strength (Colossians 1:29)
- Labor fervently in the ministry.
- Rely exclusively on the power of God.
