Good News for All People

At this time of year, it’s so easy to be self-focused. What do I want for Christmas? What will make me happy? Instead, what if we give ourselves over to God’s mission of giving the Gospel during this Christmas season?

How can we give glory to God during this Christmas time? Let’s examine Luke 2:1-20 to see the response of those first told about the Messiah, the Savior of the world.

The Recipients of This Good News: The Shepherds (Luke 2:8-10)

• Giving the Good News means to evangelize.

• The Good News is that God sent His Son to be the Savior to ALL people.

• The Gospel is the Good News about
Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. (1 Corinthians 5:13-14)
