Since God is the Source and the Means by which all good things are accomplished, then He deserves all the praise (Romans 11:36). Our purpose is to glorify God by carrying out His Great Commission to make disciples.
Matthew 28:18-20
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Five Ministry Goals that Help Us Carry Out God’s Great Commission:
1. Evangelism: Share the Gospel. (Romans 1:16; 1 Corinthians 9:16; Mark 16:15)
2. Church Planting: Assimilate believers into the local church. (Hebrews 10:24-25)
3. Discipleship: Teach and edify the saints. (Hebrews 10:23-25)
4. Christ-like Character: Look and act like Jesus. (Romans 8:28-29; Galatians 4:19
5. Involvement in Ministry: Minister involving these five goals.
