Every person who loves God must live a life of submission. I Peter 3:1-6 addresses the topic of submission in the home. In this sermon, let’s examine what submission means specifically to the wife.

- Live a life of purity and reverence.
- Characterized by pure, clean, holy living.
- When you fail, ask both God and the wronged person for forgiveness.
- Others should note the wife’s reverence for God.
- Live a life that is not preoccupied with your external appearance.
- This command is not a prohibition for looking nice.
- A godly wife is not obsessed with her outward beauty but is more concerned with her inward heart.
- Live a life displaying the godly character of a gentle and quiet spirit. (1 Peter 3:4)
- She is not a woman who stirs up problems all the time.
- She is strength under control.
