Arm Yourself to Suffer for Righteousness

1. The Meaning of “Arm Yourself with the Same Purpose”

• To arm yourself with the same mindset as Christ
• Having the mindset of Christ means that you are determined to always do the things that are pleasing to God.

2. The reason to arm yourself with the mindset of Christ is that this mindset will remove any control that sin, Satan, and your flesh have over you.

3. Arming yourself with the mindset of Christ will result in you no longer living according to your sinful lusts but instead, you will live according to the will of God revealed in His Word.
