God's Church never stands still. It's always moving forward. As believers in Christ, we are commissioned to share the Gospel, but God is the One Who does the work of salvation (John 6:44).
The Jews complained because Jesus said He was the Bread of Life (John 6:41-44). Jesus told them that no one came to Him without the Father drawing them first.
- Don’t ever try to force people to get saved.
- Be careful with a salesmanship-manipulative approach to get a decision.
- When calling for a decision, give people a way out.
- At the same time, don’t hesitate to bring people to a decision.
- Be careful when using “repeat-a-prayer.”
- Be careful when dealing with children.
- When leading someone to Christ, ask them to pray aloud.
- What do you do if a person says they want to wait?
- Don’t pressure them.
- Do warn them.
