5th SUNDAY LORD’S SUPPER NEXT SUNDAY – Next Sunday, March 30, the 5th Sunday of the month, our AM worship service will be centered on the sacrifice of Christ and will end with us taking the Lord’s Supper and a special benevolence fund offering.

USHER’S MEETING NEXT SUNDAY – We will be having a usher’s meeting for all of our current ushers right after the AM service on Sunday, March 30 in the Senior Life Group room. YARD WORK FOR MCGUIRE FAMILY – While Chris is deployed, we would like to help Michelle by handling the lawn maintenance for her. The backyard needs to be mowed and trimmed every other week. 19th ANNIVERSARY SUNDAY AND DINNER ON THE GROUNDS ON APRIL 6 – CBC’s 19th Anniversary Service will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2025. Our guest speaker is Pastor Joe Henson. After the service we will enjoy a delicious dinner on the grounds. Each family should plan to bring a full course meal including dessert. The church will take care of the drinks. Due to dinner on the grounds, we will not have our Life Groups at 9AM. Please make your plans to join us on this special day!
GIVING COMMITMENT SUNDAY – At our 19th Anniversary Service on Sunday, April 6, 2025 we would like to ask you prayerfully to consider participating in these four areas:
(1) To turn in your Tithe/Grace Giving Commitment Card for 2024-2025 – Notice: you can also do this anonymously online by clicking on this link: https://cbcgarner.breezechms.com/form/a0cb6547669259
(2) To turn in your Building Fund Commitment Card showing how much you plan to sacrificially give to the Building Fund.
(3) To give your new Tithe/Grace Giving Commitment in our regular offering or online at https://www.cbcgarner.org/giving. (4) To consider giving a one-time sacrificial gift in our special offering on April 6, 2025. Your gift will go into our Building Fund to help with various building projects and debt reduction on our loan.

TEEN DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT ON APRIL 12 – It’s back ladies and gentlemen, the dodgeball tournament you’ve all been waiting for! Prior to coming to the event, teens will need to put together teams of five players each. Every team must be made up of at least two girls, and two visitors from outside of CBC. The heart of this event is for unbelievers to attend, hear the gospel, and come to Christ. However, if teens fail to put together a full team of five, they can still come and we will plug them into existing teams. As an incentive for teens to come, the winning team will be awarded with a $100 cash prize. There will be free pizza and drinks as well. Registration begins at 4:30pm on April 12th, and the event will last until 8:00pm. The Dodgeball Tournament will be hosted at CBC. Don’t “dodge” this “ball-er” opportunity! Hope to see you all there!
MEN’S SOFTBALL SIGN UP – If you are interested in playing softball this year, please sign up and pay by clicking on the following link: https://cbcgarner.breezechms.com/form/eba67a46. The cost is $60 (which includes new jersey). To play on the CBC softball team you must attend CBC regularly (1 service per week). Exceptions must be approved by the league and Pastor Mike. ADULT LIFE GROUPS SUNDAY AT 9AM – Our Adult Life Groups meet every Sunday at 9AM. Our Life Groups are divided into these groups:(1) Singles College & Career Life Group (College Age) – Leaders Alex Dunn and Bill Adams (2) Young Life Group (20s & 30s) – Leader Chris Underwood, (3) Mid Life Group (40s & 50s) – Leader Bill Buffaloe and (4) Senior Life Group (60s and up) – Leader Ken Cunningham. During 2025 we will be studying different topics and our adult teachers will be rotating through the various classes. SIGN UP FOR TEEN AND JUNIOR CAMP - It's time to sign up for summer camp! This year we will be taking our teens and juniors to the Wilds Christian Camp in North Carolina June 16th-21st. The Ages for Jr Boot Camp are rising 4th graders through rising 6th graders (must be at least 9 years old by September 1, 2025). Teen campers are rising 7th graders through graduated seniors (must be at least 12 years old by September 1, 2025). As always, we would love for you to take advantage of the early bird registration discount when you register by Feb 4th. You will need to register your child online via the Wilds website (https://wilds.org/), just be sure to select the correct week of camp, state of camp (not New England!) and the correct group "Community Baptist Church, Garner NC". If you have registered online in the past, this group should be saved in your profile. You will need to pay a $50 deposit at the time of registration with the remaining amount due before we leave for camp. The cost of camp this year is $395-425 for teens and $385-415 for Juniors. The lower rate is for early registration (before Feb 4th) then the price goes up. If you have any questions, see Pastor Mike.

You should have received a system text this week asking you to opt-in to text messages. You must reply "YES" to that text in order to get any Breeze texts including ministry reminders.
