Two Responses to God’s Gift

Christmas is about the birth of Jesus Christ. He was born to save us from our sin. His birth was the greatest gift ever given! What will you do with this gift?

There are only two responses to God’s gift of salvation.

1. Rejection of God’s Gift, Jesus Christ (John 3:18, 36; Luke 20:17)

• To reject Christ means to refuse to accept Him as Savior.
• To reject Christ means to fail to believe in Him and Him alone to save you from your sins.
• To reject Him means to receive eternal damnation in hell.

2. Receiving God’s Gift of Salvation

• To receive Christ means to accept or come to believe in Him as your Savior.
• To believe in Christ means to completely depend upon Christ and Christ alone to save you.
• To believe in Christ means to have eternal life.
